Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Geneva

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Research Institute for Statistics and Information Science, University of Geneva under the supervision of Sebastian Engelke and in collaboration with Johanna Ziegel (ETH Zurich).

My research interests are probabilistic forecasts, their production using machine learning methods, and their evaluation. I am particularly interested in both theoretical properties and practical applications of probabilistic forecasts in meteorology.

I obtained a PhD in Statistics and Machine Learning from Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté under the supervision of Clément Dombry (LmB), Philippe Naveau (LSCE/CNRS) and Maxime Taillardat (CNRM/Météo-France). I have a Master’s degree in Statistics and Machine Learning from Université Lyon 2 and a Master’s degree in Physics of Complex Systems from Sorbonne Université.
